SAI Drive Solutions
SAI Drive Solutions was founded in 2012 as a subsidiary of SAI Power Systems Inc. With over 40 years developing power control and distribution equipment including switchgear, gen-set control panels and XP starters and breaker panels, SAI Drives Solutions was formed to specialize in the development of VFD solutions and products.
The dedication resulted in the world's first, ETL listed Class I Division 1 VFD - the XP Drive and the world's first, UL Listed, Class I Division 2 VFD - the X5 HazLo.
SAI Drive Solutions includes VFD's for indoor (NEMA Type 1), outdoor use (NEMA Type 3R), water resistant (NEMA Type 4X), wash-down drives (IP66) and hazardous location (HazLoc) explosion-proof VFD's CID1 and purged-air CID2 packages up to 650 HP (HD) . SAI has also developed a rental drive program, with 480 VAC 3-Ph VFD's from 10 HP to 600 HP (HD) available for short to long-term rent.

UL 508A Panel Shop
All products are designed and built to UL standards. Certain product lines and models carry UL listings. Custom panels depending on specifications maybe offered with UL listing.
SAI UL files include;
- UL 508A - Industrial Control Panels
- UL 1203 - Control Panels & Assemblies for use in Class I Division 1 and Class I Division 2 hazLoc environments
All components used are premium quality and are either UL listed or UL recognized.
