Vacon AC Drives

Vacon AC drives offer optimum process control and energy efficiency for electric motors. Vacon drives are known as the most reliable and dependable drives in the world, with 27 years of production and sales in more than 100 countries.

The Vacon drive portfolio is comprehensive with over 16 models, packaged into various form factors including micro drives, cold plate, stand-lone, wall-mount, air-cooled, liquid cooled, hazardous location and system cabinet drives. Power range is from 0.5 HP to 6500 HP.

Vacon drives offer advanced software and PLC-like programming capabilities . Option cards are available to add additional fieldbus protocols.

Depending on VFD model, enclosure types may include chassis, NEMA Type 1, 12, 3R or 4X.

SAI Stocking Distributor for Vacon Drives

SAI is a stocking distributor for Vacon drives. Our inventory includes 2 HP to 200 HP Vacon NXP's as well as 10 HP to 100 HP, X5 HazLo Drives (Hazardous Location Drives) available in carbon steel - painted safety yellow, or 316 Stainless Steel.

Pre-engineered Drive Packages

In addition to loose drive sales, at SAI, we offer pre-engineered VFD packages and custom panels. For pre-engineered solutions our DURA-Drive product line offers Type 1 or Type 3R panels with Vacon NXP drives. We also offer NXP drives in our Class I & II, Division 1 & 2 purged air panels.

Custom Panels

For unique projects with specialized requirements we offer custom panel builds.  From requirements to commissioning we are able to design, build, test and commision custom panels.

As a UL 508A panel shop we are able to offer UL certification on our safe area control panels as well as offer UL listing on our hazardous location solutions for Class I & II Division 1 & 2 builds, per UL 1203.
